VOTING INFO AND RECOMMENDATIONS

VOTER GUIDES

If you registered in Nevada with your SNC Tahoe address, your early voting polling station is the Incline Village Library. Early voting goes through this Friday (11/2), and is from 10am-6pm Monday-Wednesday, 10am-7pm on Thursday and Friday.  The General Election is on Tuesday, Nov 6th. I believe the polling place for Tuesday is Incline Village Middle School (931 Southwood Blvd) – but please check for yourself beforehand.

I'm including some info on Reno candidates, for any of you who may be registered in Reno.

The below link is probably the clearest site with overviews of the candidates and ballot measures - your best one-stop shop for info on the relevant candidates and ballot measures. The site allows you to generate a sample ballot for yourself. Here is the info for Incline Village voters:

And here it is for Reno voters:

You can double-check that you are registered here:

Another good electoral resource is Ballotopedia – here are the links to the Nevada 2018 midterm election, and a direct link to the ballot measures.

MORE INFO ON CANDIDATES:

A note here – most of these guides have recommendations for state offices beyond what will be on your Washoe Couty ballot, which can be overwhelming to sort through. If you're registered in Incline, these are the offices you'll be voting for:

US Senate
US Use of Representatives
Nevada Governor
Nevada Lieutenant Governor
Nevada Secretary of State
Nevada Attorney General
Nevada State Controller
Nevada State Treasurer
Nevada State Senate – District 16
Nevada State Assembly – District 26
Washoe County District Attorney

If you're registered in Reno, you will be voting for the same offices – except the State Senate will be for District 13, and the State Assembly will be for District 24.

Democratic Party Ballot Question Recommendations:

I couldn't find recommendations from the Washoe County Republicans, the Clark County Republicans, or the Nevada State GOP on the Ballot Questions – I will happily update this page with info if anyone can dig that up for me.

Below is some pro/con info on Ballot Measure #1.
